€7 million in ticketing revenue. Two full-time staff. One platform.

Aviron Bayonnais Rugby and SECUTIX

Since returning to the Top 14, the Basque club has sold out every home fixture. But selling out brought its own pressure, with tight quotas with zero room for error, matches relocated across the border to San Sebastián, and a back office buried in manual renewals, payment chasing and hand-issued tickets.

That's why AB Rugby co-built its ticketing with SECUTIX. Now fans renew, pay, exchange and find their relocated seats from their own accounts, and the back office largely runs itself.

Highlights

  • ~70% of season ticket renewals now online, up from 25% four years ago
  • 40,000 hand-issued tickets replaced by a single file import
  • Automated reminders, receipts and payment-linked ticket release
  • A fan-first exchange marketplace
  • Four-hour ticket queues eliminated
  • A full working day saved every week
  • 2 full-time ticketing staff supported by a reliable, flexible ticketing platform

"Today the ticketing system is robust and reliable enough to let the club generate over €7 million in revenue with just 2 full-time staff."
