SECUTIX will take over the ticketing for one of Switzerland's oldest and most innovative orchestras, the Sinfonieorchester Basel, starting from the 2024/2025 season. SECUTIX secured the contract for this collaboration during an official tendering phase, surpassing numerous competitors. While the initial training sessions took place in January, SECUTIX will enter the sales process for various subscriptions in early March and migrate existing subscriptions to the new system. The complete takeover of the entire ticketing process will be finalized by the upcoming season.

Optimized purchasing experience

SECUTIX simplifies and streamlines the entire ticketing process. Customers can now manage credits and perform various actions through their customer accounts. Additionally, the Sinfonieorchester Basel will utilize the SECUTIX Audience Management (SAM) Tool to interactively engage  with the audience, as well as create campaigns and promotions.

More than just a Ticketing portal

The use of a Business Intelligence solution allows for the evaluation of crucial marketing metrics. SECUTIX emphasizes data sovereignty, ensuring that visitor data remains exclusively with the organizer and is not forwarded to third-party providers. As an open platform, SECUTIX seamlessly integrates with other third-party software, such as accounting. The Sinfonieorchester Basel also adopts SECUTIX's latest product, SECUTIX Pay (S-Pay), an integrated payment platform offering all services and support in one place. S-Pay enables proactive resolution of payment issues, detection of fraud attempts, and provides real-time information on the status of each transaction, both at the box office and in the online ticket shop.

Norbert Stockmann, Managing Director DACH at SECUTIX, says:

"I am delighted that we have gained another partner in the cultural sector, the Sinfonieorchester Basel, with whom we can continue to play the open platform concept collaboratively. Supporting the orchestra in its future transformation is an exciting task with great potential to build a closer and more transparent relationship with its audience."

Simone Primavesi, Head of Marketing, Communication & PR at the Basel Symphony Orchestra, says:

"We are pleased to have found a reliable partner in SECUTIX, allowing us to source all our requirements for a future ticketing system from a single source. Thanks to the appealing, user-friendly, and intuitive user interface in the ticket shop, as well as in the back office, we provide our visitors with an optimized customer journey. Furthermore, the introduction of the web-based system is a significant step in our digitization strategy."
