Growth and momentum are key drivers for this mission and the sales team, including this role, are tasked with high levels of achievement.  SecuTix is now expanding our sales team in the Netherlands with a specific focus on Sports. The role works alongside our Customer Success & Professional Services teams to develop new customer relationship and help them achieve even higher levels of success.

The role is based in Amsterdam. In this role you will:

  • Identify potential clients in sport market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs
  • Acquire of new sports customers
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while extending sport bodies relations
  • Partner with pre-sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
  • Identify and define of local product requirements and close exchange with the international product and marketing departments
  • Become a subject matter expert on our sport proposal value, internal processes, and remain up-to-date on industry’s news
  • Market observation and support of the relevant sports disciplines and leagues
  • Represent SecuTix at relevant trade fairs and congresses, including giving lectures and presentations
  • Negotiate and close contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders

Skills

  • Knowledge of the requirements and procedures of a sports club, stadium company and/or sports association
  • An extremely resilient network up to decision-maker level in the entire sports industry (sports clubs, leagues, associations)
  • Very good understanding of Internet technologies, SaaS and cloud-based platforms.
  • Good knowledge of social media requirements
  • Strong in communication and closing, presentation skills and strong team orientation
  • Goal-oriented and structured working method
  • Passion for sport and technology
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is an advantage

Work experience

  • A successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration or IT technology
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in functions such as ticketing, sales, ideally with proven acquisition success with B2B customers
  • Ideally several years of experience with a ticketing system provider or comparable companies (tourist booking systems, CRM, SaaS platforms)
