The agreement gives SecuTix clients the ability to operate sales through the global travel website and its booking service just as easily as if they were done directly in the SecuTix platform. Barcelona’s Palau de la Música Catalana is the first SecuTix client to benefit from the new partnership. The concert hall is selling tickets for their guided tours through the platform for the same price as direct from their own website.
SecuTix uses deep API integration to target TripAdvisor customers with tailored products based on their activity. The ticketing platform sets the prices and product availability limits. Sales are made in real time from the SecuTix inventory, and TripAdvisor generates tickets with barcodes which can be used at the venue.
Joan Oller, Palau de la Música Catalana General Manager, said:
“On TripAdvisor, Palau is in second place in the recommendations of ‘Things to Do’ in Barcelona. The venue has a 77 percent ‘excellent’ rating, an 18 percent ‘very good’ rating and a global score of 4.5 out of 5. We’re very pleased to offer a direct link from this relevant website to our activities, guided tours and classical music concerts. We thank SecuTix for their flexibility in connecting us with this crucial partner. We’ve been working with TripAdvisor-Viator for some time, but the partnership with the SecuTix platform now makes it easier and more profitable for our institution, our partner and the visitors. A triple ‘win’ success.”
“We’re very pleased to offer this integration which covers tickets for events and matches plus time slot and visit passes. Our platform’s ability to link with other systems opens new sales opportunities for many of our clients and is further proof that an agile approach meets the ever-changing needs of today’s customers.”
