MUSÉE YVES SAINT LAURENT PARIS ADOPTS SECUTIX TICKETING SOLUTION

In the weeks since its inauguration on 3 October 2017, the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris has made almost half of its ticket sales online.

 

Lausanne, Paris, London, Madrid, Munich, 24 November 2017 – SecuTix, the global provider of a cloud-based ticketing engagement platform for the sports, culture and entertainment industries, is delighted to announce that Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris has chosen its SecuTix 360° solution to develop online sales and optimise the customer experience.

Based at the historic site of his former fashion house, 5 avenue Marceau, the museum celebrates the couturier’s work with a full retrospective alongside a series of themed temporary exhibitions. It showcases both the creative genius of the designer himself and the process of developing haute couture collections. The venue offers a wide range of attractions including group and individual museum visits, a lecture series, an on-site shop, and ad hoc events such as visits to the restoration workshop.

In anticipation of huge public interest, the museum opted for a state-of-the-art ticketing solution that provides the ultimate visitor experience while capitalising on the ever-growing popularity of online purchase.

After a two-week implementation period, SecuTix 360° went live for the online sales launch on 25 September, a week before the museum opened its doors. Less than two months later, online ‘Visit Pass’ purchases already account for 45% of its total sales.

The museum judged SecuTix’s solution as a winning formula in terms of:

  • Offering advance online B2C booking in 30 minute timeslots
  • Managing sales across multiple channels – online and at the box office
  • Digitalising complex administration processes such as timeslot management
  • Controlling the flow of visitors both at the museum entrance and through the exhibitions
  • Mining data for a better understanding of its visitors and eventually, developing an active community
