Royal Abbey of Fontevraud centralises the management of multichannel ticket sales, services and merchandising
Built in 1101 and situated in the vicinity of Saumur, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud is an exceptional venue currently known as a “contemporary site dedicated to art, history and culture”. Classified as a historical monument since 1840 and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2000, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud also an important centre for the preservation of the natural heritage.
With 200,000 visitors every year, Fontevraud was looking for a feature-rich ticketing solution to accommodate multiple ticketing formulas and event types, various services, as well as a merchandising boutique. Another requirement was the ability to sell across multiple channels especially online, providing potential visitors with a facilitated access to the online ticketshop from laptops and mobile devices. Last but not least, the Royal Abbey was also keen to promote its rich catalogue to a wider audience by leveraging customer relationship management functionalities to offer the right product to the right person at the right time.
