Business Analyst

Missions and responsibilities

As Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for the following activities:

  • You’ll identify, analyze and document business requirements
  • You’ll solve our customer’s problems through structured procedures, identify the risks and impact on new feature development
  • You’ll work closely with our technical specialists during the feature’s design, realization and implementation phase

Typically, your field of activity is at the interface between business and IT or suppliers. You will define/specify new features or product enhancements, support the development team as member of an agile team until the feature is ready to go in production.

Skills

  • Understand customer needs and gather product requirements to develop new features or enhance existing products.
  • Engage and work closely with the Engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods, as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
  • Analytical/problem solving skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Appreciation of user experience (UX) and business/commercial issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • analytical and problem solving skills

Work experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience and MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a product management / Business analysis position
  • Experience agile development methodologies
  • You have a background between 1 and 2 years of experience in development.
  • Knowledge and experience around ticketing industry more specifically (live entertainments, sport, museum) is a plus
